pre & post care
For the best results, proper preparation and aftercare are essential. Follow these guidelines to ensure a safe, smooth, and effective healing process.

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To prepare for your treatment and ensure the best possible outcome, please follow these guidelines:
-
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
-
Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol: These can increase sensitivity and inflammation.
-
Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid tanning or excessive sun exposure at least 48 hours before treatment.
-
Discontinue Harsh Skincare Products: Stop using retinoids, exfoliants, or active ingredients like AHAs/BHAs 48 hours before facial treatments.
-
Keep Skin Clean: Arrive with clean, product-free skin—no makeup, lotions, or oils.
-
Do Not Wax, Pluck, or Thread Hair (for Hair Removal Treatments): Shaving is acceptable, but hair should remain in the follicle for electrolysis to be effective.
-
Avoid Excessive Heat & Sweating: Skip intense workouts, saunas, or hot showers before certain treatments to minimize skin irritation.

Post-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure proper healing and maximize your results, follow these aftercare recommendations:
-
Keep the Area Clean & Hydrated: Use a gentle cleanser and apply a recommended soothing product, such as aloe vera or fragrance-free moisturizer.
-
Avoid Touching or Picking the Treated Area: This prevents irritation, infection, and delayed healing.
-
Protect Your Skin from the Sun: Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen daily to prevent sun damage and hyperpigmentation.
-
Skip Harsh Skincare Products: Avoid retinoids, acids, and exfoliants for at least 48 hours post-treatment to allow your skin to recover.
-
Avoid Excessive Heat & Sweating: No saunas, hot tubs, or strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours after electrolysis, facials, or red-light therapy.
-
Expect Temporary Redness or Sensitivity: Some mild irritation is normal and should subside within a few hours to a couple of days.
-
Follow Any Specific Care Instructions Provided: Some treatments may have additional post-care steps—please refer to the personalized instructions from your specialist.
